A concrete cube test involves taking a sample of freshly mixed concrete, letting it cure, then crushing it and measuring its compressive strength. Many concrete suppliers carry out this process at a certified test house, away from their facilities.

• MOISTURE CONTENT
A sample of soil is dried to constant dry weight at a temperature of 105 degree centigrade and the moisture content is determined. Speedy method could be used to check the moisture content as a guide and the final result still based on oven method. Moisture content normally used to determine the degree of compaction as well as other laboratory soil test such as proctor, CBR test etc.
